Importance of Regularity and Punctuality in Student Life
Student life is, no doubt, the best part of one’s life. It is a period when one is young and can live a life free from all worldly worries. But it is very important how one uses this freedom. Some students believe it to be a time ‘to eat, drink and be merry’. They spend most of their time in canteens, cinema halls and playgrounds. Such students have to repent later when they have to start life of their own. Then they realise how ill-equipped they are for it. They have to repent all their life for wasting the precious years of their youth in eating, drinking and being merry. Therefore, every student must realise that student means a person who studies at some school, college or university. One who spends all one’s time eating, drinking and being merry can’t be called a student. A student must devote himself heart and soul to his studies. He must be very regular and punctual in his studies. No doubt, he should take part in games and other co-curricular activities. But he must remember that studying is his main occupation, and meaningful studies always demand regularity and punctuality.
