Environmental Pollution and its Effects

Environmental Pollution and its Effects Or

Environmental pollution is the biggest problem facing the world today. The air is being polluted by the exhaust fumes of ever-increasing autos and by the smoking chimneys of factories. Rivers and seas are being polluted by the chemical discharges of factories. Land is being polluted by the use of plastics that are not biodegradable. All these different kinds of pollution are adversely affecting all living creatures as well as plants. The amount of catbon dioxide in the air is increasing. It has resulted in global warming. The glaciers and polar ice caps have started melting. Many islands are slowly going under water. The danger of floods has increased. The polluted air has increased the danger of many diseases. The cases of dengue fever are increasing every year because the changes in temperature make it conducive for mosquitoes to thrive. We can say that if environmental pollution goes on at its present rate, it will not take long for all life to be wiped out from this earth.
