Terrorism : a Threat to Peace
Terrorism is a monster of violence. It has raised its ugly head in the past few decades. it is growing larger and larger. It has spread in all parts of the world. No country or community can think itself safe from this monster. The terrorist attack on the twin towers of WTC in the USA on 11 September, 2001 is the worst example of it. Our own Parliament was attacked on 13 December of the same year. And the monster of terrorism in J&K has already devoured thousands of lives. Bomb blasts in London are another example of it. A series of bomb blasts took place on 29th October 2005 in Delhi. About one hundred people died and several others were injured in it. There were several incidents in 2006 also. Terrorists have no religion. They are barbarians who have become a threat to peace.
